Window Energy Efficiency

The energy efficiency of windows is rated from A to G. All replacement windows must rate at least E, but at T&J Conservatories we install high-rated windows which conserve a high amount of energy, lowering your heating bills and increasing the comfort of your home.

Windows rated C or higher are allowed to use the Energy Saving Recommended logo, a certification created by the Energy Saving Trust for the most energy-efficient products available. By replacing old windows with a C-or-above rated window from T&J, you can save over £50 per year on your heating bills, meaning the cost of installation can be quickly recouped through savings on your bills.

Here at T&J, we only install Safeguard windows rated C and above, saving upwards of £158 per year, allowing the windows to quickly 'pay for themselves'. In addition, these windows are fully recyclable, ensuring a minimum environmental impact when they reach the end of their 35 years of life expectancy. The reinforcement of the windows is also made from 100% recycled material known as 'RCM', providing a strong, secure, and thermally-efficient frame.
